Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are now central to the UK’s pathway to net zero—capturing excess renewable energy, stabilising the grid and ensuring clean power is available when needed most. As the UK accelerates its transition to wind and solar, the ability to store and dispatch renewable electricity has become a system‑critical requirement.
